down and up

today i got back my second chapter draft from ruth moose.

ok, so the first chapter she didn't like. she wrote "needs a lot of work" and wrote all over it. and plus every time i talk in the class she looks at me like i just said something crazy. maybe that's because i don't always like what her groupies write. but whatever.

so after not getting into poetry last semester and now ruth moose with all her favorites, i just got fed up with the creative writing department and gave up on the minor after declaring my double major.

today she loves my story. there were ab. 4 marks on it. all of them said "nice!" and then at the end she said, "j-great writing! keep going!"

um...i thought i would be getting some CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. what is so much better ab. chapter 2? someone PLEASE tell me!

so that was random, and probably no one cares. but it is stressing me out a little bit. basically just don't take her class.

ok, more positive note...my favorite carolina club member came in today! she is ab. 40 and is taking a spanish class here and her and her friend sometimes come in after their class and request me because i will talk in spanish with them. last time she came in i sent her a "member appreciation card" in spanish and she LOVED it. and those are the days when i love my job.

also, we got bistro aprons, which is a fun new addition to the tuxedo. esp. on the boys...hahaha. the short boys look a bit like munchkins :)
