a mellow morning after a mellow weekend...

i'm feeling very mellow this morning.

that's a good feeling. maybe it's the rain. or the second cup of coffee. or just that i had another super relaxing, tranquilo weekend. probably a combination. but i also know it has a little something to do with God and the promise that He listens, that He answers prayers, that He has given me the strength to unload my burdens at His feet.

i have been really overwhelmed lately at the strength that God gives us. i don't know why i am surprised.

i will be in the US a month from today. this next month is jammed packed and it's going to fly by. i am so thankful i am returning for another year. i can't imagine not coming back. but i'm so thankful for the 2 months that are coming up...to rest up a bit, to see family, to see friends, to thank my supporters in person...

this past weekend some us went with fabbie to his hometown: general alvear. it was a fun trip...super relaxing. lots of good food, good talks, hilarious moments and let's not forget...plenty of icecream (ahhh...el sabor inolvidable: bonbon irlandes...bueno fabs, despues de ganarme dos kilos en un finde me parece que tu mama YA tiene que cambiar al nombre al bonbon ASESINO!!! jaja)

today lucia is teaching jenna and i how to make empanadas from scratch.

faith is being sure of what you hope for, certain of what you do not see.
